Get outside for World Snow Day in 2021!

Ski clubs across the Northwest Territories can’t wait to welcome you to World Snow Day 2021. 

Temperatures are looking great wherever you are in the territory this weekend. Here’s what’s happening near you:

Yellowknife

Hay River

Hay River Ski Club will be offering free day passes for skiing and snowshoeing in celebration of World Snow Day. Find out more from the Hay River club.

Fort Smith

In addition to the ski club trails being groomed ready for this weekend, the trail to the Mountain powerline will be track set. This is an 8.5-km loop on rolling terrain. This event is open to everyone: members and non-members. Given the constraints of Covid-19, the club is asking non-members to please bring their own ski gear. Please be prepared so that you can follow Covid-19 protocols.
