The NWT Ski Division is seeking volunteers to fill a number of positions on the NWT Ski Division Board. Are you interested in being involved in the Ski Division? The Board meets for one hour on the second Thursday of each month. Your volunteer contribution can be as little as 12 hours per year or more depending on how much time you are willing to devote.
The following positions are available:
Secretary: Record minutes, including motions at the meeting of the Board, AGM and Special meetings and make them available to the members. Keep the Division’s records in order.
Communications: Prepares updates and information for the Ski Clubs on various events or notices. Give updates on Ski Clubs and Ski Division events to Sport North for their website. Although part of the responsibility is to ensure the website is maintained and up to date, you do not have to maintain the website.
Events: To share ideas of fun club events,suggest links/resources to get more ideas for club events and coordinate/oversee planning for a variety of events where the Ski Division has a role.
